Coming Together for Peace

From my experience in the military, people develop a unit consciousness when they wear a uniform, and move together for a common purpose. The more you are like your Brothers and Sisters in Arms, the stronger the bond. When you live, eat, train, exercise, dance, march (move) together, or listen to music, the stronger the bond. This concept works in music, sports, schools, police and fire departments.

We are all connected at varying degrees. Consider this as an example. In 1986 (before cell phones) I was giving a presentation to 300 people. I asked by show of hands, how many people have gone to the phone to call someone, only to have it ring before they got to it, and it was the person they were going to call. Almost every hand went up at once. Has this happened to you?

There are several organizations that bring us all together in common thought –

The Global Meditation Movement

The Global Coherence Initiative

MedMob Meditations for Peace

Be The Peace

What do we do when we get there? We all meditate on a common outcome. Usually World Peace.

What if we were to meditate on cleaning up the mess (bad energy) first, and then consider laying down a blanket of peace?
